A Kiss – Write Soon


Today when postage stamps are placed lopsidedly on the envelopes, the sender risks to be blamed for being a sloven.


It was not always so. In the stamp language from about 1910 you could tell a lot by placing stamps aslant, upside down or with the motif lying down.

In our days "write soon" appears to be the most frequently used variant.
